Getting Ready for School and Keeping Healthy (click title to read)

In dealing with COVID this year I have developed a handwashing protocol that many of my preschoolers loved. Whether dealing with COVID or other communicable diseases, handwashing is crucial. A productive way to teach proper handwashing is to sing the ABC song, but end with: “This is how I clean my hands and keep myself HEALTHY!” Teach them to make bubbles by rubbing their palms, tops of hands, “butterfly” fingers, and scratch their palms before rinsing, to get a thorough cleaning.
